{"id":8789,"date":"2026-03-13T12:35:20","date_gmt":"2026-03-13T10:35:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iiccracovia.esteri.it\/?p=8789"},"modified":"2026-04-07T10:33:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T08:33:40","slug":"open-call-beyond-borders-advanced-training-and-project-working-session-in-residence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iiccracovia.esteri.it\/pl\/news\/dall_istituto\/2026\/03\/open-call-beyond-borders-advanced-training-and-project-working-session-in-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"OPEN CALL &#8211; Beyond Borders &#8211; Advanced Training and Project Working Session in Residence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Instabili Vaganti<\/strong> and the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute in Krak\u00f3w<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong>Villa Decius Institute for Culture<\/strong>, launches an <strong>open call for dancers, actors, performers<\/strong> of all genders and backgrounds to take part in a tuition-free 6-day advanced training and project working session <strong>in residence<\/strong> in Krak\u00f3w, within the framework of the international project Beyond Borders.<\/p>\n<p>This is a high-level professional training program combined with an intensive working session in residence dedicated to the development of the project, culminating in a <strong>final public performance on 23 May 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PROJECT CONTEXT<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beyond Borders<\/strong> is an international multidisciplinary project conceived and directed by the <strong>Instabili Vaganti <\/strong>Company, aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue, artistic co-creation and innovative performance processesintegrating physical theatre, choreography, voice research and digital media. Selected participants will officially become part of the Beyond Borders international artistic community, joining a global network of performers, directors, choreographers and cultural operators. Participants may be invited to take part in future stages of the project \u2014 including creative residencies, workshops, exchanges and co-productions in different countries.<\/p>\n<p>WORK CONTENT<\/p>\n<p>The residency will focus on the concept of \u201c<strong>Border<\/strong>\u201d \u2014 understood as geographical, political, social, cultural, gender-related, linguistic and inner boundary \u2014 exploring it as both separation and meeting point. The work process will include: Physical and vocal training (Instabili Vaganti methodology) Contemporary movement and choreographic composition Exploration of body\u2013space\u2013time dynamics Creation of physical scores and multilingual collective dramaturgy Development of performative material for the final public sharing The process will be intensive, collaborative and devised theatre\u2013based.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for applications: April 25, 2026<\/strong>.
